He is survived by: his wife Patty; his sons, Ron Johnston and Rob Johnston; his stepson Toby Homuth (Kim); his daughters, Merri Eklund (Jeff) and Terri Shampine; his grandchildren, Aaron Johnston, Daron Johnston (Boni), Whitney Waters (JT), Taylor Homuth, Lindsey Francois (Ben), Alex Eklund, Cecilia LaPalme (Tyler), Dave Eklund and Cody Shampine; his sister Diane Berkshire; and his nephew Cecil Berkshire.
