He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Snyder Floyd and Martha Ann Noland; his wife Lauren Jean Floyd; and his sister Barbara Byrd. He is survived by: his daughters, Laurie Gavigan, Kristina Alexander and Kerri Floyd; his grandchildren, Miranda Alexander, Ashley McCorquodale, Madelyn Alexander, Nicole Gavigan and Orion Johansen-Gavigan; and his great grandchildren, Bentlee Thompson, Brody Thompson, Morgan Carey, Riley McCorquodale, Lucy McCorquodale, Makynlee Alexander, Leo Johansen-Gavigan and Matteo Johansen-Gavigan. He is also survived by "Papaw" to his many grandchildren.
