He was predeceased by: his parents, Billy Grimmett and Libby Ruth Grimmett (Holmes); his daughter Paula Grimmett; and his sister Earlene Gray. He is survived by: his wife D'Ann Grimmett of Snyder, TX; his sons, Allen Grimmett (Gini) and Steve Grimmett (Tammy); his grandchildren, Jennifer Jones, Reese Grimmett (Tara), Brad Grimmett (Michele), Ashley Thomas (Luke) and Blake Grimmett (Cassie); his great grandchildren, Kristen Hernandez (Jace), Bryce Jones, Avery Thomas, Kinlee Thomas, Rylann Grimmett, Rantley Grimmett, Hayes Grimmett and Fayth Grimmett; his great great grandchild Keira Hernandez; and his siblings, Rita, Norman Grimmett (Shirley), Ray Max Grimmett (Judy) and Frankie Grimmett (Patty).

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home (3101 College Ave, Snyder, TX 79549). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Snyder (3101 College Ave, Snyder, TX 79549).
