He was predeceased by : his parents, Oddest Louise Palmer (Franks) and Ted Palmer; his wife Mary Rose Palmer; his grandson Caleb Wayne Banta; and his siblings, Morine Chandler Judy Dempsey, Wilma Rogers, Lee and Donald Palmer.

He is survived by : his daughter Amanda Odell (Charles) of Snyder, TX; and his grandsons, Carl Banta, Jr. (Lacy) of Snyder, TX and Calvin Nobles (Tiffany) of Snyder, TX. He is also survived by Great Grandchildren.
