She was predeceased by: her parent Eusebia Ornelas; her husband Juan V. Martinez; her father Jose Ornelas Sr.; her granddaughter Alexis Ortegon; and her brothers, David, Ramon and Estevan Ornelas.
She is survived by: her children, Johnny Ray Martinez Sr. (Anita) of Fluvanna, TX, Debra Ortegon (Ismael) of Abilene, TX, David Martinez of Snyder, TX, Rudy Martinez (Connie) of Snyder, TX, Larry Joe Martinez Sr. of Snyder, TX and Cindy Sanchez (Andrew) of Snyder, TX; and her grandchildren, Melissa Martinez-Guedry (Dustin), Johnny Ray Jr. Martinez (Jessica), Chris Ortegon (Laura), Veronica Buenrrostro (Frank), Ismael Jr. Ortegon (Amy), Rudy Martinez Jr., Michael Martinez, Ryanna Martinez (Lindsey Jameson), Larry Joe Martinez Jr., Mallory Vasquez Andrew (J. J. Vasquez), Vanessa Martinez, Gabriella Sanchez, JuanDiego Sanchez and Lilliana Sanchez. She is also survived by 29 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; as well as two sisters and four brothers.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Miller Family Funeral Home Chapel (200 E 37th St, Snyder, TX 79549). A rosary will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church (1311 Avenue K, Snyder, TX 79549).
