He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles and Emma (Rust); his grandson Travis Janner; his brothers, Herbert (Gloria Janner) and Milton (Elvera Janner); and his siblings-in-law, Hermann Weiss, Morris "Bubba", Helen Brewton, Clarence and Liz Herzog.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Kay Janner; his children, Russell "Rusty" (Katy Janner) and Gayle Bednar; his grandchildren, Ray Janner, Pamela, Eric Plagens, Brandon, Kaley Bednar, Shea and Taylor Janner; his great grandchildren, Cooper, Tucker Plagens, Paige, Clay Bednar, Haizel, Travis and Riggs Janner; and his sister Lavern Weiss.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to St. John Lutheran Church of Prairie Hill, Independence Cemetery or charity of choice.
