He was predeceased by : his parents, John Julius and Marie Schoppe (Schoenberg); and his siblings, Carl, Milton Karisch, Mary Dene Lands and Dorothy Schoeneman.

He is survived by : his wife Patsy Schoppe; and his siblings-in-law, Donnie Blinka (Beverly), Lynne Blinka and Judy (Dave Rogers). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
