She is survived by: her husband James Alexander York of Valentine's Day; her daughter Tiffany Adell York Weiss (Ray); her sisters, Marcella Zimmerman and Mildred Whitmire; her son Scott York (Raschel); her grandsons, Kevin Weiss (Taylor), Shawn Weiss (Allison) and Alex York; her great grandchildren, Sawyer Marburger, Emersyn Weiss, Coleman Weiss and Graham Weiss; her nephew Jeff Whitmire; her niece Sandy Whitmire Davis; and her great-nephew Michael Whitmire.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the Strickland's Funeral Home (545 8th St, Somerville, TX 77879). A burial will be held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 from 3:15 PM to 4:15 PM at the Oaklawn Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice Brazos Valley, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Shriner's Children's Hospital, or a charity of your choice.
