With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Abelino Castro Sanchez Jr. of Sonora, Texas, who passed away on April 23, 2026 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Abelino shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Abelino farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He is survived by: his children, Abby Cunningham (Grady) and Eric Sanchez (Mary); and his grandchildren, Carli Bartlett, Camron Cunningham and Nathan Escobar. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
