With sadness, we share the passing of Billy Martin of Sonora, Texas. Billy, born on October 21, 1942, passed away on October 2, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clay Martin and Leona Martin. He is survived by: his wife Martha; his children, Lee Ann Holt, Steve Morriss of Sonora, Tammy (Joe Shannon) of Pleasanton and Mikal (Debbie Martin) of Panhandle; his brothers, Sammy Martin of Mason and Bobby Martin of Junction; his grandchildren, Ethan, Stephani Morriss, Jeremy Massey, Josh Green, Shawnee (Dustin Pike), Cordale Martin, Ryan, Samantha Shannon, Matt Shannon, Kaycie and Jacob McCaleb; his brother Nathaniel Martin; and his great grandchild Hudson Shannon.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 13th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hope Lutheran Church (417 SE 2nd St, Sonora, TX 76950).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to West Texas Boys Ranch, West Texas Rehab, or the charity of your choice.
