He is survived by : his wife Irene Gomez; his children, Gloria Abalos (Poly), Mary Villanueva (Henry), Judge Pete Gomez Jr. (Patricia), Janice Gomez Lira and Sonya Yvette Gomez; his grandsons, Rick Villanueva, Josh Perez, Mike Abalos, Charles Lira, Troy Lira, Dominic Mendoza and Jacob Mendoza; his sister Maria Gomez; his grandchildren, Emily Gomez, Catherine Alston, Valerie Villanueva, Victoria Lira, Dakota Abalos, Gina Mendoza, Cynthia Melendez and Amanda Rubalcava; and his caregiver Melva Vallejo. He is also survived by his children, he is survived by his 19 grandkids.
