He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie Alvic and Essie Mae Neal (Oler); his sister Christine Parks; his wife Jo Ellen; his daughter Denise Augustine (Neal); and his siblings, Troy, Joe, A. Don, Martha Grace, Leta, Rita and Forice.
He is survived by: his sisters, Patsy Greene and Genita Dalby; his son Eric Neal (Lisa); his grandson Christopher Neal (Jennifer); his son-in-law Kenneth (Sharon Augustine); his grandchildren, Melissa (Augustine), Brian Aday, Tori (Neal), Brent Goertz, Tanner, Katy Neal, Garrett Neal and Archie Neal; and his great grandchildren, Jeremy, Jace Aday, Smith, Carter Goertz, Joe and Lucy Neal.
Smith gave donations to many organizations throughout his life. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to a charity or organization of you choice. Suggestions would be Dee Ora Masonic Lodge scholarship fund, First Baptist Church Sonora or Eldorado, American Cancer Society.
