He is survived by: his friends, Nacogdoches and Austin University; his children, Matt Ryan (Susan) of Sour Lake and Megan Ryan (Chelsea) of Beaumont, Texas; his grandchildren, Nick, Kate and Jackson Ryan of Sour Lake, Texas; his brothers, Jack Ryan of Phoenix, Arizona and Dallas Ryan of Edinburg, Texas; his cousins, Gary Duncan of Beaumont, Mary Rowan of Waco and Rene Henry of Hominy, Oklahoma; and his former wife Lynda Farris Ryan. He is also survived by many other family members and friends.
