It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Robert Devine of Southlake, Texas, who passed away on March 5, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though James Robert may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Henry and Phydell Devine (Deming); and his sister Beverly Taylor. He is survived by: his wife Juanita Wilkinson; and his children, Jim Devine (Lora), David Devine (Kathy), Velva Vosler (Robert), John Devine (Dorothy) and Suzanne Severide (Sean). He is also survived by wife of sixty-six years, his five children, his grandchildren, and his great grandchildren.
