He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Leroy Farris (Bill) and Addie Bingham Farris; and his siblings, Tim Farris, Annis Farris Hataway, Amelia Farris Dickens, Willie Sue Farris Ward and Yvonne Farris Hataway.
He is survived by: his wife Donna; his children, Terri Farris of Sandpoint, Idaho, Evette Farris Layton (Bryant) of Childress, Texas and Darl Farris (Sally) of Grover, Missouri; his stepdaughter Jennifer Yarbrough Read (Scott) of Amarillo, Texas; and his brothers, Bill Farris (Lucy) of Twin City, Georgia and Jerry Farris of Dumas, Texas. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, and seven greatgrandchildren.
