He was predeceased by : his parents, Harlie Byrd and Roxie; and his wife Jean. He is survived by : his children, Robert Gene (Joy Byrd), William Dean (Darlene Byrd) and Tuwana (Chris Trout); and his grandchildren, Justin, Jera, Kelsey, Cassandra and Stephen. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren and other family members.
