Roye Lee Strawn Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roye Lee Strawn of Spicewood, Texas, who passed away on August 17, 2025 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Lawrence Strawn and Lillie Mae Roye; his son Whitney; and his siblings, Bob, Tom, Lamar, Deloy, Billy Joe, Agnes and Hazel.

He is survived by: his wife Margaret Martin; his children, Andy and Leatha; his grandchildren, Denise, Jarrod, Melanie, Darrell, Tommy, Jennifer, Amber, Roye and Drake; his great grandchildren, Faith, Bobby, Shane, Kenny, Austin, Ariel, Jordan, Sadie, Kelbie, Konner, Kera, Autumn, Anthony, Kinsley Rae and Tilden; and his great great grandchildren, Jameson, Blacy, Rydeer and Rilynn.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the McCurdy Funeral Home (105 E Pecan St, Lockhart, TX 78644). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers make a donation to Spicewood Baptist Church and Lytton Springs Cemetery Association.
