He is survived by : his wife Iva Olene Chancey; his sisters, Effie Tope and Nancy Murphy; his children, Vonnia Gampher (Eddie), Russell Chancey (Beverly) and Albert "Patrick" Chancey Jr. (Holley); his brothers, Cecil Rhea, Jr. and Johnny Rhea (Nikki); and his grandchildren, Cindy Masterson (Jeff), Eddie Gampher, Jr. (Sumer), Ashley Chancey, Amber Hamilton (Chris), Blake Chancey (Hailey) and Baylee Goodrich (Luke).
