He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack McCown and Elizabeth Lee Wood McCown; and his brother Thomas Edwin McCown. He is survived by: his wife Jo Ann McCown; his children, Steven McCown (Bernadette), Jeffrey McCown (Bobbie) and Cindy McCown Edwards (William); his grandchildren, Jim, Julie, Austin McCown, Rachel West and Victoria Edwards; and his great grandchildren, Ayla McCown and Warner Edwards.
