He was predeceased by: his parents, Lois Smith and Fred Smith; and his wife Joyce Emile Smith (Russell). He is survived by: his children, Charlie Smith of Canyon Lake and Sharie Miller of Devine; and his sisters, Mary Sue Jordan of Pearland and Ruthie Johnson of Lubbock, Texas.. He is also survived by five Grandchildren, seven Great Grandchildren.
