She was predeceased by : her parents, Reed Bardel and Dorothy Lillian Vaught Looney; her husband Charles Alvin Thompson, Sr.; her sisters, Doris Lamb, Jo Anne Looney, Nina Haynes and Becky Denby; and her grandson Charles Thompson, III.
She is survived by : her children, Peggy Lynn Jackson of Spring Branch and Charles A Thompson, Jr. of San Antonio; and her grandchildren, Zachary Shipman, Charlie Shipman, Cassie Strey and Christopher Thompson. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews.
