She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Longacre and Amelia Longacre; her half-brother Edward Longacre; and her sister Violet Longacre. She is survived by: her husband Jim; her son Scott Hunkin; her daughter-in-law Carole Hunkin; her grandson Brandon Hunkin; her daughter Pam Hunkin; her son-in-law Doug Boyd; and her siblings-in-law, Richard Hunkin and Mary Hunkin Weeman. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
