He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Jackson Jones Sr. and Elsie Lavonna Jones (Dickerson); his sisters, Norma Seltz, Betty Carlisle, Barbara Hotchkiss and Louann Smith; and his son-in-law Joe Dudley Seals.
He is survived by: his wife Leoma "Ruth" Campbell Jones; his children, Andrew Jackson "AJ" Jones III (Tammy), Cindy Seals (Joe Dudley), Michelle Phillips (Steve) and Jina Mobley (Stan); and his grandchildren, Scott Dulaney (Tia), Nicole Boyle (Paul), Zachary Phillips (Alison), Aaron Dulaney (Sheryl), Jacob Register (Nicky), Morgan Phillips, Jerod Mobley, Cori Husky (Kraig) and Andrew Jackson "Drew" Jones IV. He is also survived by many brothers- and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and countless friends.
