He is survived by: his children, Lydia Minor, Gabriel Garcia (Carolyn), Ruben Garcia (Cindy), Oscar Garcia (Sharon) and Elias Garcia (Janet); his brothers, Filemon Garcia and Joe Garcia; and his grandchildren, Latricha, Gina, Reginald, Melissa, Gabriel Jr., Ashley, Crystal, Emily, Cody, Samantha, Cordero, Taylor, Alex, April, Grace, Niko, Demetri and Zoe. He is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren.
