He was predeceased by: his children, Barney Bethea and Nikki Hamilton; and his sister Bettye Allison. He is survived by: his sons, Barry Bethea and Bradley Bethea; and his brother Troy Bethea. He is also survived by children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Ioof Cemetery (6, Caddo Mills).
