It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bill Schouten of Spring, Texas, born in Piedmont, Kansas, who passed away on December 29, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Ernest and Lena Mae Schouten (Newport); his wife Roberta Lee Thoren; and his sisters, Pauline Ferry, Louise Lassley and Barbara Dean.
He is survived by: his sons, Brent Schouten (Patty) of Conroe and Bryan Schouten (Sara) of Spring, Texas; his grandchildren, Kylee, Aislynn, Rheanna, Brad, Megan and Jessica; his great grandchildren, Madison, Brooklyn, Emma, Sawyer, Braxton, Jaxon, Ally, Taylen, William, Lylah and Harper; his brother Lee Schouten of Piedmont; and his sister-in-law JoAnn Bell of Pearland, Texas..
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2712.
