She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Bob and Minnie Lillis Nettles (Shoemaker); her husband LaDon Pope Kay of Conroe, Texas.; her children, Donna Lynn Kay, LaDon Pope Kay, Jr. (Donnie), Petra Diane Schweigert and Regina LaNette Kay; her great grandchild Parker; and her siblings, Elnora, Eula, Gus, Joseph, Milton, Edna and William.
She is survived by: her children, Minister and Michael Dennis Kay Sr. (Anna); her grandchildren, Elizabeth Ann Mitchell and Michael Dennis Kay, Jr.; and her great great grandchildren, Gabriel, Jackson, Gavin and Paisley.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to The Gideons in honor of Bonnie Ruth Kay.
