He was predeceased by: his parents, Haskell Cathey and Anita Nixon Cathey. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Shelton Cathey of Spring, TX; his sons, Joseph Cathey (Jessica) of Austin, TX and Stephen Cathey of Spring, TX; his sister Judy Cathey of Warren, AR; his grandchildren, Jimmy of Austin and Cormac Cathey of Austin; and his friends, Twylia, James Warlick, Mike Cheshier, Judy Dunn Ward, Dr. Dick Dunn, Carol Cloud Adams, Diane Browning Youngblood, Paula Pruett and Dr. Amil Soliz. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
