He is survived by: his wife Arlene Judith Lawson Alam; his grandchildren, Kalena, Andrea, Erika, Karl, Wade, Samantha, Nick, Mike, Patrick, Mercedes and Dakota; and his great grandchildren, Kali, Averie, Preston, Everett, Jax, Charlie Jo, Turner, Kota, Philip James and Natalie. He is also survived by his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, "Papa".
