He is survived by: his parents, Robert Roy and Sara Jean McMurtrie Awe; his wife Sheryl Awe; his children, Miles Robert Awe (Caroline Ellisor Awe), Makaila Diane Awe and Lance Kenneth Awe; his brother Michael Kent Awe (Cheri Awe); his nephew Michael Awe; his great-niece Evelyn Awe; and his siblings-in-law, Greg Nemec (Theresa Herberger), James Powell (Helen Powell), Tina Nemec and Karen O'Connor. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
