Later, she invited me to join Delta Kappa Gamma and encouraged me to seek my master's degree in Gifted Education from the University of St. Thomas. She modeled what it meant to be prepared as an educator and inspired me to always strive for excellence. Her friendship has been a treasure in the past forty-five years, and she will live on in my memory with much love.”
