He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Traynham and Ruth Traynham (Brooks); his wife Hattie Traynham; and his siblings, Carolyn Betts and Roger Traynham.

He is survived by: his son Justin Traynham; and his granddaughter Alana Traynham.
