She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Mayfield and Oteka Mayfield (West). She is survived by: her husband Stephen Brown; her daughter Sarah Brown (Stephanie); her brothers, Charles and Austin Mayfield; and her half-sister Cindy Brown.

Even after the ministry closed following the COVID-19 pandemic, her impact endured—contributing to the church's decision to hire its first-ever special needs pastor, a testament to the lasting influence of her dedication.
