He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Brang; his children, Michael Brynjestad and Katherine McWhorter; and his stepdaughters, Heather Brang-Kulp and Alllison Brang-Spates.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
