He is survived by: his wife Sandy Young; his sons, Jacob Meinerts (Anna), Jason Meinerts and Samuel Meinerts; his sisters, Sherry Meinerts and Carla Allred (Wade); and his grandchildren, Hollis, Heidi and Clara. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
