She was predeceased by: her parents, Galo Hernandez and Lorenza Lopez Hernandez; her sisters, Consuelo Rios and Mary Lou Roque; and her daughter-in-law Lucy Govea.

She is survived by: her husband Juan Martinez Govea; her children, Juan Ramon (Janie), Benito, Susie Juarez (Justo Jr), Blake (Leticia), Pete, Lucy, Angelina Perkins (Randy), Virginia Hernandez (Josias), Teresa Salas and Fernando; and her siblings, Esperanza Vera, Juan Hernandez and Ramon Hernandez. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren.
