He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Leonard H. Newman and Rev. Juanita H. Newman; and his sister Joy Newman. He is survived by: his brothers, Leonard, Phil and Steve; his wife Helen Newman; his children, Dena Dial (Mark), David Newman and Denise Fowler (Terry); and his grandchildren, Tracy, Marcy, Grant, Ariel, Logan and Lauren. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
