We are sad to announce that on September 18, 2025, at the age of 82, Barbara Eckles (Spur, Texas), born in Colorado City, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bob Lewis and Florence Lewis; her brother Robert "Bubba" Lewis; and her great grandchild Wren Moore. She is survived by: her husband Sparky Eckles; and her daughters, Dedra (Trent Driggers), Audra (Todd Bryant), Missy (Jimmy Burson) and Jennifer (Stacy Bridges).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Zapata Funeral Home (602 Burlington Ave, Spur, TX 79370). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Spur Methodist Church (528 Burlington Ave, Spur, TX 79370). A burial was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 at the Espuela Cemetery (1 Miles W of Hwy 70).
