He was predeceased by: his parents, R. J. Bell and Rita Bell; and his sister Rita Julia Bell. He is survived by: his wife Cathy Howell Bell; his children, Sheldon Bryan Bell of Quinlan, Texas, Cindy Page (Derrell) of Palisade, Nebraska and Andrea Fischer (Derek) of Richmond, Texas.; his son-in-law Derek; his grandson Riggan; and his brothers, Alexander Duke and Robert Hardy Bell.
