He was predeceased by: his parents, George Kozum and Laura Frances Jordan Mott; his wife Linda Marie Roy Mott; and his siblings, Kozum Earl Mott, Irvin Mott, Willie Fay Collier, Ruth Powell, Dottie Reider, Irene Hoffstetter, Muriel Wilson and Laura Belle Mott.
He is survived by: his children, Alvin Mott (Allison) of Spurger and Laura Grice (Neil) of Crosby; his siblings, Marvin Mott of Spurger and Alvina Means of Spurger; his grandchildren, Sarah Cline (Cody), E. J. Ledet and Dalton Grice; and his great grandchildren, Olivia Ledet and Josephine Ledet. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home Chapel (113 W Holly St, Woodville, TX 75979). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at the Beech Creek Cemetery.
