She was predeceased by: her parents, Luz Sosa and Delfina Garza Sosa. She is survived by: her children, Noemi Ruiz, Arthur Ruiz, Ernest Ruiz and Steven Ruiz; her siblings, Mary Helen Rivas, Ofelia Ruiz, Mirta Padilla and Omar Rivas; and her husband Audon Munoz Ruiz Jr.. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, as well as many extended family.
