He was predeceased by: his parents, Felipa Hernandez and Mercario Salazar. He is survived by: his wife Diamantina; his children, Jaime Salazar Jr. (Elsa), David Salazar, Alicia Salazar Fuentes (Gustavo), Leonor Salazar, Felipa Rubio and Diamantina Salazar; and his siblings, Cruz Salazar, Juan Salazar (Maria), Javier Salazar (Teresa) and Jesus Salazar (Lourdes). He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren, as well as many extended family members and friends.
