It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marlene Kay Mims of Stanton, Texas, born in Lamesa, Texas, who passed away on December 10, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Henry Wilkins and Marjorie Hill Wilkins; and her siblings, Kenneth Wilkins, Patsy May and Kitty Sue Eison.

She is survived by : her husband Loyd Mims of San Angelo; her sons, Rickey Mims, Ronnie Mims, Russell Mims and Robert Mims (Bob); and her sister Hazel Moore. She is also survived by "Memaw" leaves behind eleven grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Martin County Convent Foundation, P.O. Box 1435, Stanton, TX 79782.
