He was predeceased by: his parents, Seferina Guzman Barrera and Maximo L. Barrera; and his wife Rita Barrera. He is survived by: his children, Juanita B. Vasquez (Louis), Maria B. Rejino (Lupe), Ramona B. Moreno (Ruben), Linda Sue Martinez (Jesus), Guadalupe B. Hagle (Wayne), Rita Alaniz (Armando), Santos Barrera Jr. (Reina), Luis R. Barrera, Robert Barrera (Lisa), Martin Barrera and Joel Barrera. He is also survived by thirty three grandchildren, eighty three great-grandchildren, and forty five great-great grandchildren.
