He is survived by: his wife Paula Faulk Maness; the mother of his children Faye Laverne Maness (Necessary); his son Michael Scott Maness (Leslie); his grandchild J. P. Maness; his son Devin Dain Maness; his granddaughter Maya Maness; his stepson Carl Wayne Elliott (Johna); Will O'Dell.
