He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfredo Rivas Sr. and Isabelle Deleon; his son Nicholas Hernandez; and his siblings, Fidel Rivas, Theodore Rivas and Adella Soto.
He is survived by: his wife Beatrice Rivas; his children, Richard Martinez, Kenneth Hernandez (Irene), Cynthia Hernandez and Mary Rivas (Gabriel); and his siblings, Alfredo Rivas Jr., Janie Jiminez and Christian Flores.
