It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Christopher Thomas-Leday Sr. of Stowell, Texas, born in Galveston, Texas, who passed away on July 11, 2022, at the age of 39, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Eugene "Geno" Leday, Sr.; his grandparents, Adrian, Viola Leday and Reverend Lionel "John" Thomas, Sr.; and his godfather Warren Guillory.
He is survived by: his mother Mary Thomas Leday; his children, Ashlyn Murphy-Leday of Winnie and Christopher Lee Thomas-Leday, Jr. of Winnie; his grandson Kylan Ceasar; his grandmother Mary Ella Thomas of Stowell; his siblings, Crystal Leday of Stowell and Eugene Leday, Jr. (Shalandra) of Beaumont; his nephew Kingston Leday; his niece Caitlyne Guillory; his goddaughter Jasmine Batiste; the mother of his children Julie Murphy of Winnie; his close friend Henry Harmon of Stowell; and his godmother Cora George of Stowell. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of other relatives and friends.
