She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Joseph and Marie Baker East; her husband Spencer Gunn Smith, Jr.; her granddaughter Celeste Bellard; her brothers, Roland and Donald East; her niece Sharon Beaudeaux; her nephew Todd East; and her stepmother Anite East.
She is survived by: her children, Lacy Daniel Wallace III (Karry) of Stowell, Texas, Danise Wallace Gurule (Rick) of Durango, Colorado, Angela Irwin (Damon) of Stowell, Texas and Chrystal Logan (JP) of Port Neches. She is also survived by Nine grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Lighthouse Church (1424 TX-124, Winnie, TX 77665).
