With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Willie George of Stowell, Texas, born in Roanoke, Louisiana, who passed away on August 23, 2023 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Willie and Hattie George Sr. Willie; and his siblings, Beatrice Delcour, Anna Denton, Vera Harmon, J. B. George, L. J. George, Edward George and L. C. George.

He is survived by: his great grandchild Leila Rose; his wife Cora George; his children, Shelly Broussard (Frank) and Willie L. George; his grandsons, Xavier Broussard (Lanna) and Zion Broussard; his great grandchild Leila Rose Broussard; and his siblings, Hattie Sanders, Joseph George Jr. Mack (Evelyn Jane) and J. W. George (Rose). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other extended relatives and friends.
