He was predeceased by : his parents, Joseph Harmon Caraway and Ethel Emma Bond; and his grandparent Ellie Caraway. He is survived by : his wife Joy Notowich Caraway; his children, Donna Caraway Wright (Sherrie) and Mark Harmon Caraway (Thuy); his grandchildren, Matthew Wright (Meg) and Meghan Moriarty (Matthew); his great grandchildren, Cora, Henry, Anna and Ellie; and his siblings, Sherrill Caraway (Margaret), Janice Willoughby, Betty Porta (Clay), Bond, Willoughby and Porta. He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews and many, many friends.

A graveside service was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the Sugartown Cemetery (1784 LA-113, Dry Creek, LA 70662).
